Crash Review Course - Another Success

Saturday, January 24, AARO and the Southwest Research Center Amateur Radio Club sponsored another one-day ham radio review course at Southwest Research Institute.  Eight of the nine attendees passed their Technician exams and earned their ham licenses.  The eight new hams are:  Christi Pettit KE5AFJ, Janet Croce KE5AFK, Bill Lamb KE5AFL, John Stiles KE5AFM, Bob Ferry KE5AFN, Robert Garcia KE5AFO, Don Carr KE5AFP, and Roy Garcia KE5AFQ.  Congratulations to all of you!

Many thanks to everyone who helped to make the course a success!  Three of the instructors also served as mentors to the students as they studied before the class date:  David Espinoza KD5NNH, Danny McCarty WA5KRP, and Johnny Wallace K5POP.  The instructors also included Paul Goble III ND2X, Herm Haertel N5CNH, Terry Platt WD5ADF, and Bob McWha AD5NQ.  Their presentations were very professional, entertaining, and effective.  Thanks go to Teri Thomas KC5BJI, Jack Riegel N5JAK, Bill Patton AC5AS, Pat Knight AD5BR, Connie McWha KD5UXU and Lee Besing N5NTG for their assistance before, during and after the class.
