San Antonio Traffic Jam

The San Antonio Traffic Jam is a group of Amateur Radio Operators in the San Antonio area that have a fun non-net controlled QSO on their way to and from work during the day on the Alamo Area Repeater Organization’s VHF/UHF repeater. Topics vary from day to day but all licensed Amateur Operators are always welcomed to join in.

Weekday Mornings and Afternoons
from 6:00am to 8:00am and 4:30pm to 6:00pm

The Info Net on the 2-m repeater. We start with a rebroadcast of Amateur Radio News line and follow with check-ins for your comments, queries, updates, and occasional items to buy, sell or trade.   Join us!

The Slow Code Practice Net is for Amateur Operators who would like to learn Morse code letters, punctuation, numbers, pro-signs for use in CW transmissions.

Monday Evenings after the Info Net (usually around 9:30pm)


There is also the Night Owl Net. The subject matter might cover brain-storming an antenna solution, solving world problems, a trivia question or plain ol’ ratchet-jawing. The net has been known to last until the early morning hours on a many occasions.
