The class is on the 11th and 18th at the Mays Family YMCA at the corner of Potranco and 151. The exact address is 8765 Hwy. 151 Access Rd. The class is from ( am to 5 pm both days. There will be testing on the 18th. We will be using the NEW Gordon West Technician Manual 2018 to 2022 edition. Test fee is $15.00. Students must purchase their own book. The class is free. Once again it’s time for fun in the sun in central Texas as we make the Capital City the place to be in the middle of the Texas summer. Come and enjoy old friends, theswapfest, and all the events at Austin Summerfest 2018, and the ARRL South Texas Section Convention. And as always, we also host the Summer Meeting of the Texas VHF-FM Society.
The Alamo Area Radio Organization (AARO) is a nonprofit Amateur Radio organization, club call sign AA5RO, dedicated to assisting the community through radio communications, and the enjoyment, appreciation, and the sharing of knowledge and advancement of Amateur Radio.
